I love coming to Tong Smith for the beef noodle soup. There was a short wait, but it moved along smoothly and I was soon seated. The service was excellent, and the Aussie Wagyu beef in my Thai noodle soup was absolutely fantastic. Every bite reminded me why I keep coming back. I genuinely look forward to my return every time I’m in Bangkok, and I only wish there was an outlet in Phuket.

The wagyu beef was so good that I had to come two nights in a row. It’s such simple comfort food. The noodles weren’t enough for me because they were just too delicious — but luckily, add-ons are always available. The soup also wasn’t enough at first, but they kindly topped it up whenever I asked. I felt a little bad, though, because I couldn’t finish it after the second refill. The first visit I had wagyu beef with beef slices as add on; for the 2nd visit I had beef tendons and noodles as add on. They are both so yummy! Service was excellent, I also ordered the coconut cream dessert as I am not a fan of bananas. I wish they have lemon grass in their menu for drinks though. Will definitely visit other branches in Bangkok when I next come.

Great looking shop and fantastic food. The portions are great and broth is hearty. I love boat noodles and this place is certain an upgrade. The service however sadly lacked even fundamentals. I was a solo diner waiting for a table. I made eye contact with 2 servers and they just looked away, as if thry didn't want the business. Even one of the staff who ended her shift and was walking out called out to her colleagues that there's someone waiting. Nobody bothered. Until maybe a few mins later when I was awkwardly standing there.
