Train Night Market Ratchada

I’m happy we went here! This is less crowded than Jodd Fairs and has a decent amount of food stalls and other stores. The vibe was still fun and festive without feeling too cramped. A little note — we took a Grab going here. The driver almost took us to Jodd Fair (nearby but still not our drop off) because he thought this night market hasn’t reopened.

I believe this place just reopened after being closed for 5ish years. I was at the other market nearby and discovered it was open so thought I'd pop my nose in. It's amazing, I severely regretted only coming out with 2000 baht and no wallet as I burned through my cash. I got some amazing second hand clothes from a couple of shops. I'll be coming back with more money for some second hand shoes I saw that I love. I also bought some tops for myself and my family that were made by local artists that brought smiles to my face and will be relevant to my family. I didnt eat here, just shopped and had beer. I feel bad for the workers at the food places as it was deathly quiet, I enjoyed that as it made browsing easier, but I hope it is busier usually (it is Sunday 12th April so I wonder if songkran stuff is impacting trade? Regardless, check it out, if you hate it theres always the other market, but I found this one much more spacious, easier to navigate and with more unique stuff on sale
