About

Tsuru Udon Silom is a container-style shop with a QR code ordering system that delivers genuinely delicious udon bowls. The noodles feel impossibly fresh—many visit at the right time to skip lines, though waits are common for good reason.

Portions satisfy without overwhelming, balancing broth, noodles, and toppings with Japanese precision. The quiet interior despite the street noise makes this a thoughtful, refreshing udon experience in central Bangkok.

Very tasty food and good portion sizes. It feels well balanced, not the kind of place that serves huge plates with too little food. The space is a bit tight since it is a container style setup, but foot traffic does not really bother you while eating. Definitely worth the price and easy to find, right at the start of the road. There are several massage shops along the left side, which also makes it easy to spot.

This was a Stumble Onto a wonderful little Udon place. Just after being in Japan this place was so fresh and delicious that I thought I was back in Japan. Very reasonably priced and absolutely loved the texture and freshness of the food. Even the pickle onions were amazing. I promise this is a hidden gem. Craving noodles you won’t be disappointed. My husband and I love Udon, and this Udon was delicious. The environment was quiet despite the noise street it is located and the service perfect. We asked the waiter for recommendation and we enjoyed the hot udon so much! I recommend this place a lot 👍

A very small restaurant with nice decor. Good service with free wifi. Unfortunately no beer, wine, or even sake, the last of which would have been a perfect pairing. Noodles and broth were excellent. Presentation excellent. My only criticism is the tempura shrimp and eggplant almost instantly turned into flaccid, dissolving muck upon contact with the broth. I'd suggest they learn from Japanese masters how to keep the tempura crispy, and get a liquor license.
