Education in Khao San, Bangkok is a place to learn by doing: short Thai cooking classes and a central bank museum sit in the old Banglamphu quarter, a short way from the Grand Palace.

Getting there: No BTS or MRT line reaches this area. Take a taxi or Grab, or ride a Chao Phraya river boat to Phra Athit pier.
