Maliwan Thai Cooking Class

It was one of my favorite things I did in Bangkok. The teacher is so knowledgeable, helpful, and so Funny! It was such a great time. I learned so much about Thai culture when we went to the market. She introduced me to those working at the market and explained about their lives and work. She explained so much about the plethora of produce, meat, fruits, and animals for sale. She is such a knowledgeable cook as well. I could go on and on about how amazing this was. I really suprised myself with the dishes I made. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing experience at the Maliwan Cooking School at the end of January. We started the day with a tuk-tuk ride to the local market to buy fresh ingredients, which was both fun and informative. We then cooked four incredible Thai dishes. Mae is an outstanding chef and a fantastic teacher - we learned so much from her. She shared great insights both at the market and in the kitchen, making the whole experience unforgettable.

Mae's Thai cookery class was brilliant. We attended as a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children aged 6-10. The tuktuk to the market to buy ingredients was fascinating and informative and Mae was clearly well known and liked. The cookery class itself was spot on, we learnt a lot as adults and Mae included the children and gave them tasks they could do independently. We created 4 delicious dishes and have lots of wonderful memories.
