I'm Thanos.

When I went to Chulalongkorn University Hospital (Thailand's equivalent of Tokyo University Hospital), there was a dedicated seating area for monks in the food court. Monks wearing orange robes were there, and it seems this arrangement is made out of consideration for reasons like the need to maintain distance from women due to monastic rules. The hospital is incredibly clean! The infrastructure is strong. It's appreciated that foreigners can get examined if they pay the foreigner surcharge. Even though insurance doesn't cover it and you pay the full cost, it's a blessing to be able to receive medical care.

In the middle of the urban jungle, the grounds of the Faculty of Architecture of Chulalongkorn University provide a rare green space. Beautifully landscaped, the gardens are open to the public.

🇹🇭🚲Spin around CU with Anywheel! Bike-share stations are everywhere, and people are actually using them. The campus is flat and shaded, making it an easy and comfortable place to ride. CU also has wide sidewalks, bike-friendly ramps, and most cars are tucked behind the campus. The campus runs electric buses, tuk tuks, and buggies too. There are motorbikes and Grab (motorbikes) around, but still far fewer than at USM! The one-way street layout likely helps keep things calm and motor traffic is noticeably sparse, which makes cycling even smoother.
