The scallops are to die for. A must order everytime in my opinion. This is my second time there, and it’s as good as the first time. Ordered the deep fried sea bass this time instead of the popular steamed fish, and it was amazing. The fish was deep fried to perfection. Compared to typical fried fish, where the whole fish is deep fried, they cut out the fish chunks first before deep frying the pieces separately. This ensures that you really get deep fried goodness and consistency throughout. Aey seafood is definitely a place I want to visit every time I’m in Bangkok.

A simple restaurant with no Michelin awards but the food taste and quality is there. Find the lighting a bit dimmed for a seafood restaurant and overall deco is basic. Price is also not tourist tier.

The food was fantastic. We started with scallops with garlic and butter, still in the shell. The scallops were cooked perfectly and not overwhelmed with seasoning. We then had tom yum soup with shrimp which was well balanced with heat and sour. Next we had stir fried cabbage with fish sauce and deep fried fish with fish sauce. The fish was crunchy yet moist and despite being deep fried, did not feel heavy or oily. One of the best meals we had in Bangkok.
