All Meals Sawasdee

Very good local Thai restaurant near Wat Pho. The food is simple but very authentic. I ordered Thai fried rice with shrimp — well seasoned, not too oily, topped with crispy fried shallots which added great texture. The fried chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside, freshly made. The fresh coconut was very refreshing in Bangkok heat, and the smoothie was smooth and natural. Prices are reasonable for this tourist area, and the quality is better than many restaurants nearby. Good stop after visiting Wat Pho. Would definitely come back.

Little random restaurants off side streets can be a gamble but this place really impressed. If you want solid Thai dishes done right (plus FAST!) you can’t beat it.

A very cute, small Thai restaurant with lots of charm. The food tasted delicious, really authentic and fresh, and you can feel that everything is cooked with love.The place is beautifully decorated with old photos from Bangkok and the past, which gives it a very cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. I was even allowed to quickly charge my phone there, which shows how kind and helpful the owners are.
