AT ISAN (แอทอีสาน)

Truly exceptional restaurant. We happened to stumble upon this place on our first night in Bangkok and were blown away by the food. Extremely well balanced and flavorful, it’s impressive, we tried many different dishes and literally none of them were disappointing (which is pretty hard to come across). We had to come back a second time before we left, and again the food was on point (to me this is a telltale sign of a proper good place, it’s relatively easy to impress once, but to live up to expectations a second time is much harder). Also have to mention how friendly the staff is, such sweet and kind people. Anyway, long story short: this is a must visit place if you’re in the neighborhood, truly a hidden gem.

Rating 4.7 stars Food: food is very good. I love how on the chicken they elevated with tamarind sauce and salt on the side. The somtum is very good as well and worth the money. Atmosphere : is great for a lunch spot not sure about dinner but they do offer drinks as well as wine Service: excellent Downside I just feel the chicken was a bit on the pricier side and the food is a little on the sweeter side. I assume catering to the foreigners.

This is the best spot in the area for Thai Isan food. The dishes are very flavorful and well balanced across all tastes. The location is cozy and pleasant, and the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive. Pork Neck spicy Salad eas outstanding… see pics. Highly recommended. Portions are slightly small, but this actually works well, as it allows you to try multiple dishes. Overall, an excellent experience.
