About
AVRA in Sukhumvit bills itself as Greek and Georgian but the menu roams further — expect dishes from Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Russia alongside Caucasian staples. A weekend lunch runs noon to 4 PM at a particularly fair price.

I was blown away by the massive menu of such varied cuisines. While it mainly advertises as Greek and Georgian, there were items from Uzbekistan, Turkey, Russia, and many others that I can’t recall. I wish I had a bigger stomach to try more things! I had a Greek starter and an Uzbek rice dish, both of which were great tasting, though the main course was just a bit dry. Regardless, this place is worth a try for the cultural culinary experience alone.

A lovely Greek restaurant with a warm, cozy atmosphere. They offer a special weekend lunch menu from 12:00 to 16:00 at a very reasonable price. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned. I’d definitely come back again.
