Bangrak Grill

We visited this restaurant with high expectations but unfortunately left somewhat disappointed. Our starter and main course were served at exactly the same time, which made the dining experience feel rushed and poorly timed. In addition, we were seated directly under the air conditioning with cold air blowing on us the entire time. It was so uncomfortable that we were almost freezing, and the food turned cold within minutes. That was very disappointing. Considering this is positioned as a high-class restaurant, the strict no-alcohol policy was also surprising and, in our opinion, not appropriate. Many guests enjoy having a nice bottle of wine or a cocktail in the evening, especially with such a beautiful view. The ambiance itself was great — we can’t complain about that. However, the service felt slightly over the top at times and occasionally a bit intrusive. Overall, a mixed experience with some clear areas for improvement.

Ordered beef stew. Beef was tough and full of fat. Disgusting food . Attached photo of the fat we had to spit out. Chef tasted the stew and declared it was not up to standard. We didn't have to pay for the two stew meals we ordered. Stewed meat should always be tender and slow cooked. This was tough and full of fat. I assume it was local beef.
