Food was pretty nice, especially the green onion pancake. Lots of side dishes with unlimited refill. It is pretty pricey and I don't really reccommend the egg cheese dish since it's kinda bland and has a strong burnt smell.

Banpo Korean BBQ in Ekkamai is a great spot if you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ with good quality ingredients. The pork was fresh, well-marinated, and grilled nicely on the table. The cheesy egg and ramen were surprisingly good and paired really well with the grilled meat. The banchan selection was generous and flavorful — especially the kimchi and marinated vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and balanced. Service was attentive and staff were helpful with the grill, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere is modern and comfortable, not too crowded, so it’s a good place for a casual dinner with friends. Price is reasonable for the quality, roughly around 600–800 THB per person depending on what you order. Overall, a solid Korean BBQ option in Ekkamai. I’d definitely come back again.

Banpo Korean Restaurant: A Must-Try for Authentic Flavors Banpo has quickly become my satisfying my Korean food cravings. It manages to balance a sleek, modern ambiance with the comforting, rich flavors of traditional Korean cooking. Whether you're a seasoned Korean cuisine enthusiast or a newcomer, Banpo offers a truly memorable dining experience. Ambiance and Setting The atmosphere here is lively and inviting. Banpo features excellent ventilation, which is crucial for a BBQ joint, allowing you to enjoy the grilling without leaving smelling like smoke. The decor is stylish, with warm lighting and comfortable seating perfect for both a casual weeknight dinner or a special group outing. It’s the kind of place that feels vibrant without being overwhelmingly loud. The Food: A Feast for the Senses The Banchan (side dishes) are the first sign of quality, and Banpo excels here. They offer a generous and constantly rotating selection, always fresh and flavorful—the spicy pickled radish and the sweet potato noodles (Japchae) are standouts. For the main event, the Wagyu Galbi is an absolute must-order. The beef is incredibly tender, perfectly marinated, and melts in your mouth. The staff are attentive and often help with the grilling, ensuring every piece is cooked to perfection. If you’re not in the mood for BBQ, the Kimchi Jjigae (kimchi stew) is deep, savory, and spicy—the perfect soul food. It's clear that high-quality ingredients are used across the entire menu. Service and Value The service at Banpo is exceptional—fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our server was quick to refill the Banchan and offered excellent recommendations. Given the quality of the meat, the generous portions, and the fantastic service, Banpo offers great value. You're paying for a premium experience, and they certainly deliver. Verdict Banpo Korean Restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it's a fantastic culinary experience. It gets every detail right, from the delicious, high-quality food to the great service and modern setting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the best in Korean BBQ and comfort food. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place fills up fast!

Visited Banpo Korean BBQ again recently. Food quality is still good overall. The pork cuts were flavorful and nicely grilled, and the variety of banchan (side dishes) was impressive — fresh kimchi, pickles, seaweed, sauces, and condiments presented beautifully. The stews were rich and comforting, and the bibimbap was well prepared with fresh ingredients. However, service has dropped compared to my last visit. The BBQ grill got cold quite quickly, and we had to wait before it was adjusted, which affected the grilling experience. Ambience is still nice with city views and a good vibe for dinner. Overall still a good Korean BBQ spot, but hoping service improves back to their earlier standard.
