Love it here. Great value, and good food. Not too many people and quite pleasant. Service was excellent. We only had the set lunch this time but will definitely comeback to try the à la carte menu

Third dining experience, but first time for lunch at De La Mer. The 3-course set menu lunch is a great way to enjoy the delicious and beautifully prepared food at a reasonable price. Choose from a selection of starters, entrees & desserts with options of either 2 or 3 courses (790 or 990 THB). The atmosphere is bright and airy with a relaxed, modern bistrot vibe and views of Lumpini Park from their 19th floor vantage point. On each visit, the staff have consistently provided attentive and very pleasant service. The Sindhorn Kempinski remains one of my favorite places for an 'escape' to a tranquil world away from Bangkok's more hectic pace. From the moment you step inside the hotel's stunning Lobby Lounge 'oasis' through the dining experience at De La Mer, you are enveloped in a world of upscale, quiet Thai hospitality.

Review: Bistrot De La Mer @ Sindhorn Kempinski This French restaurant, located inside the hotel, offers à la carte dining for dinner, while lunch features excellent value 2-3 course set menus. Welcome Bread The meal began with pumpkin bread, soft and fluffy and a perfectly crusty baguette, served with rich and fragrant Isigny (AOP) butter. A delightful start. Dishes Ordered Royale Seafood Tower - [ ] Half Maine Lobster: tender, naturally sweet meat, pre-cut into bite-sized portions. - [ ] Gillardeau Oysters (3 pcs) & Tsarskaya Oysters (3 pcs): incredibly fresh. - [ ] Tiger Prawns (4 pcs): plump, firm, and juicy. - [ ] Scallops Ceviche: wonderfully fresh and flavorful. - [ ] Marinated Razor Clams: delicately seasoned and delicious. Riviera Crab Salad Prepared with sweet, natural Tourteau crab (brown crab from France), paired with apple, pink grapefruit, and endive. The lime-vanilla vinaigrette added a refreshing and vibrant touch. Main Course Grilled Iberico Pork Loin (special menu) exceptionally tender, grilled to perfection with a balanced flavor. Served with gratin on the side, which complemented the dish beautifully. Complimentary Desserts - [ ] Madeleines, freshly baked, with a crisp exterior and soft, buttery interior. Served warm—absolutely delightful. - [ ] Macaron, elegantly presented in custom packaging with the restaurant’s logo, with just the right level of sweetness. Overall Impression Bistrot De La Mer is an outstanding French restaurant, offering premium ingredients, refined execution, and impeccable service, fully in line with Kempinski’s high standards.
