Boon Tong Kiat Singapore Chicken Rice

Restaurant is near my hotel so I thought of given it a try and it surely not dissapointed, but rather quite surprised me - in a good way! We came here for dinner at somewhere 19:15 PM, I ordered ‘Noodle w Roasted Pork Belly for 85 baht, because the Roasted Duck was out of ordered on that day. Yet, the pork belly was quite soft and crunchy (yes both in the same bite- soft belly meat, crunchy pork skin) - it was soo good, in my opinion, this was the best noodle I have ever have since coming to thailand this month! (not exaggerated lol, it really was). However, as I am now writting this review and re-read through the menu and pictures for memory flows, it seems that I did not have wontons / dumpling in my noodle (?). Don’t know if the restaurant charge different for my dish, as my friend paid for everyone so I don’t remember the price, but if its 85 baht, it should have wonton in. But anyways, for the Steamed Chicken Rice, the Chicken was quite tender, and really good for 80 baht. The atmosphere does give me authentic Signaporean restaurant; also they have AC. In conclusion, next time coming to Thailand, I will surely visit again! (07/12/2025)

One of my favorite go to spots in town. Service is quick and friendly. Food is amazing so yummy. Their chicken and rice is a classic and so affordable too. Also recommend their noodles both dry and with soup. Must try!

Famous Singaporean chicken rice in the Thonglor area. The taste is great, as they’re well known. Bak kut teh is also good with strong Chinese herbal flavor. Other dishes are good too. Price is reasonable. My favorite is still the chicken rice, the chicken is tender and very fragrant, and the rice smells really good. No parking available, so you’ll need to find parking yourself.
