Chef Yis (Halal)

I would not really recommend this restaurant for several reasons. First, the pizza dough seems to be frozen. There is nothing wrong with using frozen dough, but the way it was cooked and served was disappointing. The pizza came out soggy, which should not happen. Second, the soup was served last instead of with the appetizer or as a first dish. That timing did not make sense and affected the dining experience. Most of the food was served cold, which made the overall experience worse. Even the mashed potatoes that came with the steak were cold, not slightly warm but actually cold, which was quite disappointing. Dishes like pizza and soup should be served hot to fully enjoy the flavors. The beef was quite tough. However, considering the price, it was acceptable. The dish labeled crispy chicken kra pow was misleading. It was basically just regular fried chicken rather than crispy chicken as expected. Lastly, the truffle soup tasted strange, and the bisque soup was not prepared in the way I am used to. The flavors felt off compared to typical versions. Overall, the restaurant has potential, but the food execution, temperature, and service timing need improvement.
