Chisana Nami: A Delightful Dining Experience Chisana Nami isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a culinary performance that turns every meal into a joyful spectacle. The chef brings incredible energy to the open kitchen, captivating diners with rich, theatrical presentations that blend flair and precision. Watching flames dance over sizzling woks or ingredients artfully arranged tableside made our evening feel like front-row seats to a live show, keeping smiles on our faces from start to finish. The food quality shines through in every bite, with ultra-fresh ingredients that burst with flavor. Highlights included perfectly seared seafood that melted in your mouth and vibrant salads packed with crisp, seasonal greens—clearly sourced with care and handled expertly. The atmosphere adds to the charm, offering a cozy, comfortable space with soft lighting and intimate seating that invites lingering chats. Service was a standout too; the friendly staff anticipated our needs with warm smiles and thoughtful recommendations, making us feel truly welcomed. I recently had an absolutely fantastic teppanyaki experience that exceeded all expectations. I went with the scallops paired with A5 Wagyu beef, and it was pure indulgence from start to finish. The food itself was outstanding. The scallops were perfectly seared — tender, juicy, with a beautiful golden crust The highlight was undoubtedly the chef — incredibly engaging, skilled. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience that combines top-tier ingredients, skillful cooking, and great entertainment, this teppanyaki spot is a definite must-try.

A surprisingly modest teppanyaki restaurant in the Erawan hotel. Food was only average; I'd say the same for the skills of the 2 chefs I could see during our dinner. While there was nothing wrong with the meal, it was certainly the least impressive teppanyaki experience I've had in 40 years and 3 continents. The service was friendly, prompt and enthusiastic. The food, a bit bland. The atmosphere, surprisingly sterile, with for example, no view other than the tiled hallway leading to an escalator and public toilets. We paid less than 5,000 baht for 2 people (including 7% VAT & 10% service charge) -- a modest price for this type of restaurant, but I didn't feel like we got good value.
