About

An upscale buffet at Gaysorn Amarin with generous portions and notable variety — the A5 boat noodle package draws particular attention. Spacious inside despite crowds, with quality that sets it apart from typical buffet fare.

this is a buffet with excellent quality! despite the wait at outside and a little mess during admission. first of the it's very spacious inside, so even a large crowded are in, still good room to move around. then the food was superb! they do not present everything to let people "take-it as you want", but instead they do ordering style. you may go to any ordering counter and station, then tell the staff what you want - after a while, food is served. so to ensure the food are freshly made (ok, i know some parts are pre-made) and the presentation is so good like fine dining. and they serve very reasonable portion too - everything petit, so to ensure you can try as much style as you want. you don't have to worry that a sushi order would knock out all your room. even the creme brulee they put sugar and burn it in front of you. the wagyu "sushi" that only put a very tiny rice ball at the bottom, that's so kind of them! i never find the same in hong kong! really a lovely place to dine at. look at the photos i took, right? i'm happy to come again in my every future visits!

This buffet really exceeded my expectations…. Then again Sydney buffets are a pretty low bar… we had the A5 Boat Noodle package… it was very generous portions … the variety is mind boggling, the freshness of the oysters and seafood was excellent, we pretty much enjoyed everything we tried, my highlights were the A5 Wagyu, the steak, kanom keen with crab, variety of seafoods and the desserts… the Thai lemon drink was so refreshing….so full I could only have the crème brûlée and pannacotta…. Both had plenty of real vanilla bean… if I have the opportunity I would love to come back. The service was also excellent…. don’t think you will get such efficient, polite and constant service in any other country.

Finally checked out them after seeing it all over social media & YouTube 😮‍💨✨ The hype is real. Booked Pack A through HungryHub (super popular in Thailand) and the whole process was smooth — instant confirmation ✅, fixed price 💸, no stress 😌. This isn’t your chaotic walk-and-grab buffet. Most dishes are counter-ordered and served straight to your table 🍽️. For the premium pick, I went for the baked & torched Canadian lobster tail with trio cheese velouté 🦞 — rich, cheesy, indulgent, with the lobster still juicy and perfectly cooked. My mum picked the Khao Soi lobster truffle espuma 🍜, which was creamy, fragrant, and elevated with subtle truffle notes. Both already made Pack A feel worth it 😍. Must-order hits (trust me 🔥): Big Wagyu sushi 🥩🍣 — buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goodness Wagyu Steak 🥩 — perfectly seared, juicy, no notes Grilled River Prawn 🍤 — smoky, fresh, instant “ohhh” moment Truffle Soup + Croissant 🥐🍄 — rich, cozy, elite combo Australian wagyu boat noodles 🍜🥩 — deep, hearty broth with tender wagyu slices Fresh sashimi 🐟 — silky, clean, super fresh Oysters 🦪 — briny, plump, perfect with lemon 🍋 Thai Salmon Salad 🥗 — zesty, fresh, straight-up addictive The buffet spread is huge 😱. Thai classics like green curry, Penang curry, kao kha moo, papaya salad 🥗, plus grilled local favorites and plenty of fried comfort food 🍗. For a fish lover like my mum 🐟💖, this place was heaven. So many fish dishes that she kept finding new favorites throughout the meal. Dessert section? Also dangerous 🍰🍨. Pastries, chocolate cakes, fruit tarts, cheesecakes, artisanal sweets, and freshly made ice cream. The kind of spread where you say “just one” and suddenly it’s three plates 😭. The vibe at Gaysorn Amarin is modern but chill ✨. Staff are attentive, food comes out at a good pace ⏱️, and everything just flows nicely. Thinking of this badly now!

I really wanted to like Copper in Bangkok, but overall the experience was disappointing. Most of the dishes were bland, lacking depth of flavor, and often served lukewarm or cold. The atmosphere felt more like a school cafeteria than a premium dining experience. I do believe they use good-quality ingredients, but good ingredients alone are not enough if the food has no character. That said, the service was excellent — very kind, professional, and attentive throughout the visit. There were a few highlights that truly stood out: the Pad Thai was outstanding, honestly the best I’ve ever had. The fresh lobster was very good, and the Wagyu Pad Kra Pao was also a strong dish. As for dessert, the ice cream from Guss Damn Good — one of the best in the world — was fantastic. Unfortunately, those few highlights were not enough to balance the overall experience.
