El Santo Mexican Restaurant & Bar

The theme and decorations at this restaurant were what first caught my eye and made me curious about El Santo. As a Mexican traveling Thailand, I was especially interested to see how authentic the food could be so far from home. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the menu goes far beyond basic “Mexican” staples like a taco de carne asada. Instead, it features a more curated selection with ingredients and dishes I’d expect to find in restaurants in Mexico City, Oaxaca, or Jalisco. The food was delicious, and the drinks were just as impressive. I also really appreciate the decor—the equipales were such a thoughtful, authentic touch—and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. The service stood out as well; the general manager is clearly passionate about his work and about sharing and uplifting Mexican culture in Thailand. Overall, El Santo exceeded my expectations, and I’m excited to return.

A special mention goes to Daniel, the Manager: professional, passionate, and incredibly attentive. He didn’t just host us — he guided us through the menu with spot-on recommendations that elevated our experience. Thanks to his advice, we tried dishes that were absolutely fantastic in flavor and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and dedication in every bite. The staff is equally impressive: friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. You don’t just receive service here — you receive genuine hospitality. If you’re looking for excellent food, great cocktails, and a team that knows how to make your evening unforgettable, El Santo Bangkok is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

Hands down my favorite Mexican spot in Bangkok. Great food, impeccable vibes and service that actually makes you smile. I’ve come twice already and each time Daniel, the sweetest manager ever, made the night feel special. He checked in on us, chatted with us and even sang for my friend’s birthday. I love him. Must orders: Maya ceviche, Baja fish tacos, Tostada de tuna and the Macho Nachos. With the live music and amazing singers, it genuinely feels like you’ve slipped into Mexico for the night. Defo coming back again
