If you sit at the counter bar, they keep serving complimentary shots non-stop, which makes the experience even more fun! Special thanks to the owner, Sushi, and a staff member named Game — they really know how to take care of their guests and create a lively mood. Fatboy Izakaya is an absolute 10/10 and a must-visit when you’re in Bangkok. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was cool, lively, and super welcoming. The food was honestly incredible – every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the attention to detail. A special shoutout to our waitress Proud, who took amazing care of us all evening. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had the best experience. She even surprised us with free shots, which made the night even more fun. If you’re in Bangkok and love great food, good energy, and outstanding service – you need to come here. Highly recommended.

Awesome atmosphere and great food! This trendy izakaya on Bangkok is a must try. The small plates are so varied and all very delicious, recommend you try a range. The duck breast was super tender and had a nice crispy skin. The pecorino pepper pasta was simple yet so flavorful! The thai shrimp toast dish was crispy and had such a warming taste. Highly recommend the shishito peppers, so tasty you won’t be able to have just one! Great range of drinks and cocktails on offer as well!
