Hangetsu Omakase

Hangetsu Omakase is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Bangkok. The atmosphere feels calm and intimate, which sets the tone right away. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and really enjoy the evening. The chef walked us through each course and explained the ingredients in a way that made the whole meal feel personal. Every piece of sushi was incredibly fresh, but a few stood out to me: the otoro was rich and buttery, the unagi was grilled to perfection, and the uni course was so smooth it almost melted instantly. The pacing between courses was also spot on, giving just enough time to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. Service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu inside out. I appreciated that they gave drink suggestions without being pushy. Their sake pairing worked beautifully with the sushi. Prices are on the higher side, but for the quality and overall experience, I felt it was worth it. This is a place I would definitely come back to for a special occasion or to treat myself. If you go, take a few photos because the presentation is stunning. Every dish looks like it belongs in a gallery.

It is definitely a very exquisite and unique experience. Each dish has complex yet delightful flavour that works well with each ingredient that is put together. Nothing in excess. Should definitely give it a try!
