I ant even begin to describe how delicious this meal was! The pork was so well seasoned, it was so good. It's an experience to sit at this restaurant right on the corner of the street and cook your own food. The food was impeccable and it was fun to cook over the little hot pot. It was very reasonably priced and such a fun experience. Highly recommend going here!

Finally made it back to Mookata heng heng after a 45-minute wait in line. The place was packed, and the snaking queue extended outside with additional seats along the road—a sure sign of popularity. The sizzling coal stove caught my attention as always. It was blazing hot, which is always a good sign for a memorable mkt. Thankfully, the scorching heat that plagued my last visit was offset by a pleasant breeze today. Talk about perfect timing! They serve mkt in a different style. Most do the usual meat/vege platter but the proteins here are served in a bowl of liquid broth. The dip is also made inhouse. I don't usually like the dips but nearly emptied the sauce here. A quick tip for those heading there. They only accept cash so make sure to have some on hand. There's a popular fish porridge joint located right next door. Sounds like another culinary adventure awaits! Dress light, come hungry! And order the fried wantons

Yummy and value for money mookata! We went at 5.45pm on a sat and immediately got a table for 2, after that we notice a que forming as we ate. Set meal cost 300 baht (2-3 pax), shrimp dumpling cost 100 baht, and the Gai Jor (chicken beancurd) is 80 baht. English menu in the pictures. Friendly staff can speak some English and helped guide us on how to cook the dishes.

Long queue. Small restaurant by the side road with a cover. The fried shrimp wontons are nice and crispy. The barbeque was average. The soup was nice. They use charcoal, and the fact that the cover is low, so ventilation was not that good. They put more electric fans for better ventilation.

Plan your visit well and prepare cash if you come in a small group since the restaurant accepts only cash. The tastes to me were so-so, and the sauce which is what they're famous for was way too sweet. I found the taste and the price were acceptable even though the hygiene could have been improved a bit however, I went there during the off-peak time and didn't need to spend a minute waiting. If I had to wait to get a table like many other reviewers and got what I got I would be little disappointed.
