Sizzling Beef – 4/5 Generous portion and served hot with an appealing presentation. The beef was mostly tender with good natural flavor, though a slightly deeper seasoning would elevate it further. Overall satisfying and well worth ordering. Scallops – 3/5 Fresh and visually well-presented. The scallops themselves were sweet, but the sauce was somewhat overpowering and masked their natural flavor. A lighter touch would improve the balance. Salmon Sashimi – 3/5 The salmon appeared fresh and nicely sliced. Flavor was clean, though not particularly distinctive. Quality was acceptable, but it did not stand out compared to other similar offerings. Overall, satisfactory but not exceptional.

The freshness of the food depends on the item. The quality of the sashimi (tuna and salmon) was quite poor for the price. The grilled ayu and the carbonara were excellent. I was skeptical about having carbonara at a Japanese restaurant, but it turned out to be very good. Considering the already high prices, adding a 5% credit card surcharge felt excessive and made me question their business practices.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant because I really wanted to rate it higher. I invited my wife for dinner the day before my flight from Thailand, and I took a risk by having oysters—three of them: one raw and two grilled. I always hesitate with oysters because they can be tricky; if one goes bad, you regret it the next day. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. I got food poisoning the following day, which made my flight back home very unpleasant. That said, the service was good, the atmosphere was great, the menu was solid, and everything else was well done. They clearly source their oysters from Japan and take care with their menu—but for me, the oysters ruined the experience. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
