Homeburg in Bangkok, helmed by Chef Taiki, was a truly memorable experience. Tucked away in a very hidden spot, the restaurant can be a little tricky to locate at first, but don’t let that deter you. It’s still very accessible, within walking distance from Thonglor BTS station. On the day of my booking, they messaged me again to provide clear directions that made finding the place much easier. The set menu is priced at SGD 160 / THB 4,000 for 11 courses, and it delivers exceptional value. Every dish was well-balanced, flavourful, modern, and creatively composed without feeling overcomplicated. The chefs also deserve special commendation for their detailed explanations of each dish, which added a thoughtful and engaging layer to the overall dining experience. Some standout dishes for me were - Egg Custard, delicate in texture yet deep in flavour. Crystal Taco, uniquely creative and well-executed Steak Plate, love the potato custard and how well it complemented the tender wagyu steak. Both burgers, made with so much precision and care, each has its own distinct personality, and the best part being - no vegetables in my burger 😂🙏 Both desserts, the Horlicks ice-cream and a really damn good cheesecake. Despite many bite-sized courses, the meal was surprisingly filling, yet remained well-balanced without leaving me feeling overly full My only concern would be the access to the restaurant. It’s located on the third floor, and the staircase leading up is extremely steep. It genuinely feels like a safety hazard and could easily lead to accidents, especially after a long meal. The ambiance of the restaurant itself could do with a little more refinement as well. Overall, Homeburg offers a unique and refined dining experience that’s well worth seeking out.

What an amazing experience. I usually do not like multi-course dining but the experience was really perfect. You feel “homey” like sitting in someone’s kitchen. The main chef guided us through his courses and explained all questions we had. The food was outstanding and made with care. All staff played a big role in making each dish perfect. If you don’t enjoy the “pretentiousness” of fine dining this restaurant will be perfect for you!

Everything was delicious and well-matched. Each dish complemented the others really nicely. My favorite items were the steak and the ice cream both were absolutely amazing. The steak was satisfying and flavorful, and the ice cream was incredibly tasty and memorable. On top of that, the atmosphere felt very homey and cozy, which made the whole dining experience even better.
