The best Japanese restaurant in Bangkok and has been for years. This is my go to high level, high quality Japanese. From the freshest ingredients to the best menu. Highly recommend the volcano, aburi salmon and crispy spicy tuna nigiri. When they have it also the chu toro sashimi and uni nigiri.

Have eaten here many times over the years. They have maintained standards. There are a lot of high end Omakase places in Bangkok now. This is not one of them. If you like creative rolls ans a mix of food with very fresh fish this is the place. Uses to be lined up out the door with 1 hr waits. Now there are line ups of Grab delivery guys. Seating is quick!

Isao is hands down my favorite sushi fusion spot. This is sushi fusion done right. I love it so much and could honestly eat here every day. One seriously underrated menu item is the Winter roll. The sauce is amazing, and I actually prefer it over the Jackie. The sushi sandwich is legendary and always delicious, never disappointing. If you love bold and creative sushi, Isao is a must try.

We have been to this place before in about 10+ yrs ago and always looking to forward to come back. But It’s a big disappointment. Sushi rice is too wet with no any vinegar taste. The first bite of rainbow roll was packed with cooking oil smell from tempura inside. While they are charging thb 500+/- a roll. Understand it’s fusion style sushi but sesame sauces are just too sweet. The only thing we happy was staff service. We sincerely wish you to improve quality of sushi rice and tempura.
