Special place with truly authentic Japanese style. Environment, Musics, cuisine all outstanding. Me and my friends were there for 3hours. Ofcouse not only good place for chatting plus with good vibe and chillaxing. Truely recommend Shochu imo one really tasty and refresh.

My favourite Japanese Izakaya is hidden down a narrow alley Sukhumvit Soi 30 Bangkok. This shop is very popular especially for Japanese expats. I found out this shop by word of mouth from Japanese community in Bangkok. Firstly, I love their nostalgic atmosphere with good background music. It’s very cosy. Their food & drink menu is amazing, authentic Japanese Izakaya menu but very unique. Their prices are reasonable and great service. Their signature dishes are : Soba Peperoncino (Japanese style Peperoncino) & Aji Fry (Deep fried Mackerel). Their Aji fry is the best one I had it in Bangkok!! Home-made Shochu, served by YAKAN (Japanese style kettle) is awesome. It's a Bangkok hidden gem - highly recommended.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant since its days in Sukhumvit 33. The food is generally excellent, and I especially love the meat and tofu dish. Today, I happened to come alone and was able to get a seat, but the place was packed with many Japanese customers. If you’re coming with a group, it’s best to make a reservation. The air conditioning was weak and I felt a little hot.
