Kitaohji Bangkok is one of the most extraordinary Japanese dining experiences I've encountered in all of Thailand, and I've been coming here for special occasions and regular visits alike. Hidden in the lush greenery of Thonglor, the restaurant occupies a beautiful traditional Japanese garden setting that transports you completely to Japan the moment you step inside. The charcoal grilled Kuroge Wagyu is an absolute showstopper — premium beef with incredible marbling, cooked over charcoal to deliver unmatched richness and depth of flavor. The kaiseki-style menu is exceptionally well-executed, with each course showcasing seasonal Japanese ingredients at their finest. The Sashimi 4 Kinds is always impeccably fresh and artistically presented. The Black Wagyu Sukiyaki is deeply comforting and luxurious, with the rich broth and premium beef creating a memorable dining experience. The grilled eel (unagi) and Japanese Dashi Omelet are also standout dishes that reveal the kitchen's mastery of traditional Japanese techniques. What makes Kitaohji truly special is the atmosphere — the stunning garden setting with koi pond, private rooms, and impeccable Japanese décor creates a serene dining experience unlike anything else in Bangkok. I visited this place last year, recommend by spa beside and it was amazing so visit this place again. Food was amazing again, but the rice. Rice abit dry but except the rice, it was amazing again. Melon was so nice too! This time I tried the dessert, the pudding was amazing not too sweet! And the topping of the grape was speechless ☺️☺️☺️❤️ Thank you so much

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Bangkok! Every dish is absolutely delicious, made with premium ingredients directly from Japan. The atmosphere is so authentic, it feels just like dining in Japan.

Beautiful setting, delicious food, well balanced with perfect flavors. Been there for lunch and then for dinner and both visits the food did not disappoint. Sad to say, in my last visit, they insisted on charging me for the miniscule amount of syrup for my green tea. Seriously for this level it strives to achieve and charging a very large price point for each dish, penny pinching for these incidentals are tacky and cheapens their delivery. Next thing they will end up doing is charging you to use their washrooms 🤣🤣. Never been to a restaurant of this calibre that does that. Not even the all you can eat buffets do that lol.
