Ko Liang Pot Stewed Duck

Roasted duck is juicy and tender. Roasted red pork is dry and the crispy pork is not crispy.

Just found out that they have this duck noodle restaurant at this location. I have been to the one in Suphanburi many times. Those restaurants name are Tong ( ต๋อง ) and Saa ( สา ). They are brother and sister. And now this “ ko leang “ This restaurant is equally good as the one that awarded with Michelin star. Really a great find for me today. I don’t want to brag about their food. So I’ll let these pictures do the talking. Braised duck and roasted duck that I had in NY ( big wok) and in Philly ( sang kee ) were too greasy. Unlike ducks here. I love the smell of fresh herbs in those soups. Price / portion is excellent. And free parking in front of the restaurant all day till closing time at 10 pm. ( I asked them ) service is nice and quick. Our table were spotless. Nice… if you guys got lost or happened to be in the area, check out this restaurant. You will love Ko Leang’s duck more than you love Donald. Monday 21 Aug. update. We came back to this restaurant again and tried these dishes. I’m happy to say that this restaurant is so delicious.

Love this duck rice place. Cost 60baht for a plate of rice, duck and vegetables. The chilli is spicy and seems home made. Comes with a complimentary bowl of soup that this not too salty. Restaurant has no air conditioning but has multiple fans so quite well ventilated. Seating area is relatively clean. Table and chairs are the typical wooden material.
