Kongju Restaurant

The restaurant Kongju. We learned from the social media reviews and follow them. However we knew this restaurant since while ago as one of the outlet of Pathumwan Princess Hotel. Which we have been visiting here many time to dropped our Japanese friends staying here and enjoying Bangkok from here. The Kongju restaurant itself decorated made us miss the south Korea that we went there few years ago. Good touched. Food: The ingredients of sauce and side dish really impressive. The fresh products really fresh and match with the price paid. We like all kinds of meat it wad makes us feel really enjoying it. We were end up with Korean BBQ and which meet our expectations a lot as per long table to talk with friends too. All of really enjoying with seafood and none seafood. Some of us doesn't eat beef but some really enjoyed like me. We like the fast service since order online. The seafood products quality is really topnotch especially shrimps 🍤 and 🐟 fishes. But the majority is beef all kinds really nice and great quality. Service: It definitely amazing from the whole team there and take care of us. As per many of us have different expectations of service. Therefore might be a bit difficult from us which some points. We have to apologize to all concerned. But the reaction from the staff Kongju really attentive of hospitality service. Especially the main contact person I forgot the name he is heads and wearing a black jacket service us and explained to our friends who may not understand the concept. Overall experience really positive. Location: Outstanding and easy access to local activities like MBK and walkable to BTS or MRT you may which to travel too. We're looking forward to go back there again and using service at Pathumwan Princess.

Tasty food, attentive service and good ambience. Known this place for more than 20 years but haven't eaten here as frequent as wished. Just had another great meal with my wife last week and delighted to see the Owner happily serving customers as ever. Plan to visit again tomorrow. Anyone looking for good Korean bbq in Bkk, this one will top any list you search.

We ordered the ribeye and pork for the grill, and both were cooked right at the table to juicy, flavorful perfection. The staff guided us the whole way—helping with the timing, turning the meat, and making sure each bite was at its best. Service was genuinely excellent: attentive without being pushy, quick with refills, and super friendly to a first-timer. I loved the variety of sides and dipping sauces that came with the BBQ—they really rounded out each bite. The room has a lively, bustling feel. Since this was my first Korean BBQ experience, it’s hard for me to compare it to other places—but as a first introduction, Kongju set the bar high. If you go, I highly recommend the ribeye and pork combo.
