About

Kruaboon Thai in Silom surprises even meat-eaters with its vegetarian Thai cooking. The wing bean salad and crispy tofu dishes are standouts, and the flavors hold true to traditional Thai technique. One of the better addresses in the city for plant-based Thai food done with genuine skill.

Had an amazing dining experience! Every dish served by Vishnu was outstanding, and his recommendations truly elevated the meal. The veg Thai spread was exceptional, from the refreshing wing bean salad to the perfectly balanced Tom Yum with cream. The radish cake was delightful, and the meal ended on a high note with coconut ice cream topped with crispy peanuts. Absolutely loved every bite and will definitely be coming back.

I am not vegan, but this place proves how good Thai vegetarian food can be. Dishes are excellent, flavors are spot on, and the cooking is genuinely impressive. The Thai salad with crispy tofu was so good I ordered it twice 🤤 That said, the ambiance is a bit lacking (empty room, basic presentation, even no toilet paper). Food-wise though, absolutely worth it! 🌱

Amazing, quality & reasonably priced vegetarian & vegan food! It's obvious that the owners are focused on serving meals from the heart! A small chat with one of the owners, Mr Kunal, it was clear that their aim is to have patrons leaving satisfied from a hearty meal with filled bellies! Every dish & ingredient is freshly prepared upon an order! The location is easily accessible, the interior is warm & welcoming. The staff are friendly & attentive. The starter was the crispy rice ball salad. The crispy rice balls salad is a must. The rice balls are seasoned, fried & partly cushed, and more items are added to make it into a salad. It has a crunch from the peanuts & well seasoned...to add more flavour, snap & add the local basil & mint leaves, served on the side. The radish cake was well seasoned & tasty. The crispy papaya salad was next. It's made into fritters & served with a tangy dip. The combo was perfect, must say, it's pretty addictive. The khao suey, is a large serving. Requested it to be split into individual servings. The gravy was mildly spicy, well seasoned & served with Burmese noodles...this is different from the regular noodles. The Tom Yum soup with rice noodles was another hit! The soup was well made & rightly seasoned with hints of spice, sour & sweet! The mojito was a good accompaniment to the meal. The coconut frappe was just something else...creamy, light & leaves the tingling feeling of craving more! Do set time to visit this amazing restaurant with an extensive menu! The food options are outrageously wide! The drinks too has many options! Another outlet, opened recently, is in Central Embassy, Eathai food court! Will certainly be back to try more!
