Kungthong Seafood Rama4

This is a must visit restaurant whenever we are in bangkok. Kungthong Seafood Rama 4 and sure glad it did not disappoint. We walked about 20–25 minutes from our hotel near Phrom Phong BTS, a very pleasant walk, passing a few interesting spots along the way. It was 10 January, and the weather was surprisingly good even at noon, which made the walk enjoyable. As usual, we ordered our favourite wing bean salad. Loved the ingredients and especially the freshness of the wing beans crunchy and vibrant. The mid-joint chicken wings never fail us; they’re always fresh (not frozen) and remain an all-time favourite. This time, we also tried the oyster omelette. It’s not usually our go-to dish, but it was superbly fresh, light, and not oily at all. We also had the glass noodle claypot with prawns, very tasty, and the prawns were fresh and well-cooked. There were just two of us, so we couldn’t order more, but the total bill came to about 1,000 baht, which we find very reasonable for the quality. Good food, fresh ingredients, fair pricing, don’t miss this place. We’ll definitely be back again.

We had a blast at this restaurant. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the seasoning was bold yet never overpowering—its flavor lingers beautifully on your palate. Several dishes are absolute must-tries and create lasting memories that will keep calling you back for a second visit. Highly recommended.

Had crab fried rice, morning glory and oyster omelette for dinner. Crab fried rice was good and packed with crab meat and wok hei. They were not stingy with the ingredients used crab fried rice and oyster omelette. Restaurant is clean. Personally I would recommend both the crab fried rice and oyster omelette
