Been coming to Lamonita for years and they’ve outdone themselves with the recent renovation. The refreshed interior is more spacious with vibrant colors that lift the whole vibe, plus the new self-service salsa bar is a game-changer - letting you customize heat levels and flavors to your liking. The food remains as reliable as ever. 1. Started with their Chips & Guacamole (220 THB) - perfectly crispy tortilla chips with fresh guac. 2. The Chorizo & Chicharrón tacos (260 THB) deliver satisfying texture contrasts without overwhelming spice, keeping things accessible. 3. Chimichanga (390 THB) comes generously portioned with plenty of rice - classic comfort done right. 4. The Tequila Shrimp tacos (340 THB) were the standout: firm, well-cooked shrimp with a tasty, balanced tequila kick that enhances without overpowering. Fair warning - portions are substantial. We ordered four items for two people and were absolutely stuffed. At around 1,700 THB total, the value is solid for this quality and quantity.

A great Mexican spot with some great tacos. The menu has a wide variety of tacos all packing punches of flavor. The birria taco was definitely the standout of the experience. Unfortunately, the appetizers were subpar. The chips were definitely under seasoned and lacked overall flavor. The wings were nice but could’ve used an extra kick to it. The atmosphere definitely reminded me of a Mexican taqueria and the service was also awesome! I would definitely recommend coming.

As latino, i can confirm that the flavors were authentic. The atmosphere and decor made the place feel like a mexican fiesta. They had a beloved latin american desert the tres leches and it was very good!
