Our Thai friends hosted the welcome lunch for us, and ordered some 13 food/dim-sum items (with some repeats), including the signature Beijing roasted-duck and a popular dessert (glutinous rice-balls with black-sesame fillings, in sweet ginger-soup). All for a group of 5 diners, apparently quite a generosity overload! Luckily, "take-aways" were permitted. The food was highly enjoyable and memorable for all of us. Staff provided quiet and attentive service to all tables (place was not packed during visit, a mix of locals and tourists present). We also fully enjoyed the fun philosophical musings of "Ah Ma" (displayed prominently on the walls, nooks and corners, on premises).

Stumbled upon this place after reading high reviews and it was as good as everyone said. The fish maw super was the smoothest fish maw we’ve ever had. The broth was clear but very flavourful. The stirfry shrimp noodles had so much depth to its flavours and tasted very different. It was amazing! We saw every table get the Peking duck but felt like it was too much food for just two people. The duck did look beautiful though and it cut it up table-side for you.

This is a good dim sum restaurant set across 2 levels. The decor is nice and the end floor resembles a relaxing book reading setting. The dim sum is pretty authentic to HK style dumplings and buns. The charsui buns and cheng fun can be sweeter than normal. The steamed dumplings are a must. It's definitely a place to go with friends and family.
