Wow these were so good! Believe the hype. The Mala sauce was amazing! The pork dumplings themselves I think are pretty good, but the sauce elevates them to the next level. It’s a touch spicy and tomatoey kind of like Szechuan but different. The little pickled onion and the crunchy bits were a nice touch too. Absolutely delicious!

I had been waiting a long time to try these dumplings and sadly it was not the experience I envisaged. On arrival I decided to order 5 of each; pork, prawn and quail. When asked which sauce I would like on my dumplings I said to the lady to give me one of each, that way I could mix and match. On delivering my three dishes to the table I asked the server where was the sauces and she responded they were already in the dishes. Oh no! I wanted to mix and match, try tom yum with each dish for example. I generally eat my dumplings or dim sum plain, perhaps with a dash of light soya so the experience was completely ruined for me. In my opinion the sauces should be absolutely served independently to the dumplings allowing the customer to decide what and how much to add. The saving grace was I gave then to my friend who enjoyed them so all was not lost. Just as an aside the dumplings are ordered through a whole in the wall which can be easily missed. After ordering you can sit and eat them in the ice cream shop next door, Cafe 520 from memory.

I agree with all the reviews here. The dumplings are SO GOOODD 👍👍👍 I order pork and shrimp, wow love it 😄 Simple dish but so satisfying
