The food prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. I chose this place because there aren’t many options nearby for mala hot pot, and I was very satisfied with my visit.

We had a wonderful time at this grand hotpot mala place in Bangkok. The atmosphere was super impressive — very lavish and beautifully decorated. The service was also top-notch, the staff were attentive and made us feel very welcomed. One unique touch was the costumes! We got to dress up in traditional outfits and dine in them, which made the whole experience even more fun and memorable. The hotpot itself was acceptable — not too spicy, with a decent variety of ingredients to choose from. What made the experience even more special was the live show during the meal. It added a nice entertainment touch while we were enjoying our food. We even got to participate in a lucky draw — such a fun surprise! All in all, it was a great experience. I truly hope to visit again soon!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! As one of the main hot pot brands from China, they deliver the same amazing experience as they do in mainland China. 🐉 hotpot soup bases are very good, food qualities is also good. I wish they had some options for more expensive meats though. As you can see on the pictures, the restaurant looks absolutely gorgeous 🤩

SPOILED FOOD. Danger!! We used to come here quite often and experience real Chinese Mala Hotpot. However, recently the chef and owner changed. It just had reopened so we decided to try it as you would imagine there's an upgrade in their food, especially after CQK Ekkamai had opened up next door. However, that's far from the truth. The first thing you notice is that the portions are more expensive now. Prices are high to reflect: I just bought this restaurant and I need my money back quickly. The worst part is the sauce bank. The sesame sauce was SPOILED. It was sour and left too long outside. This was so disgusting as we quickly felt a little discomfort in our stomach. We asked the staff the taste it and they confirmed it's spoiled. After confirming it's spoiled they gave charged us the FULL AMOUNT of the bill, gave us no discount and said there's nothing they can do. This is completely unacceptable for a restaurant. To admit it's spoiled and then do nothing about it. What? Is this what customer service has come to in Ekkamai ThongLo? Of course today morning, 2 of us got sick and upset stomachs, but how can you prove it? The soup was average, the food was just okay and the ingredients were more Thai than Chinese. Bill was 2500 baht for 2. RIDICULOUS. Extremely disappointed. Don't come here go to CQK.
