LOUIE'S on fifteen | BAMBOO & BOURBON

This is what good service is all about. As you step out of the chaos, Louis’s environment is zen. The staff whispers and the stress is left outside. The staff knows how to pay attention to your needs. Great drinks expertly concocted. We had a very good Negroni. (Enjoyed during the 2 for 1 happy hour. And then dinner. Our last meal in Bangkok was not about Thai food … we needed good pasta and Louie’s delivered. The prawn linguine was tasty and generous. As was the Penne pesto with chicken. All at a very fair price. Thank you Francis for making our experience all the more enjoyable. We would definitely come back if it wasn’t for our flight tomorrow. Let me lead off by saying that I’ve walked by here a 100 times without ever noticing more than just pictures of pizza and happy hour signs. Louie’s Bamboo & Bourbon is located in the old Hooters spot. They have remodeled everything. Yesterday. I stopped in for a break around lunch time to sample of some of the bourbons they have. I decided to order some lunch to go with it. I ordered Lamb Shank Massaman Curry. This caught me off guard (in a good way). This presentation was amazing, I felt I was eating at a 5⭐️ restaurant (Not to say this isn’t)… but I was sitting outside watching people walk by on Soi 15. It was surreal. This dish has to be my new all time favorite Massaman anything I’ve tried so far. I highly suggest to not do what I did, by just walking by 100 times. Stop in, the food punches above its class - IMHO. My picture doesn’t do this dish justice..

This place is a real hidden gem OMG ! Food is sooooo delicious - I had pesto pasta with grilled chicken and a Margherita pizza with a glass of white semisweet wine. More people should know about this place!!! The cuisine is amazing and the staff is so friendly and caring. They serve both Thai and European food. Chill music and dim light makes this spot a perfect place for a romantic date or a family gathering. Somehow I felt like in an elegant hotel restaurant.
