Totally forgot how good this place is! Everything we had was really good. The beef tongue was delicious but the bavette was definitely my favorite, so juicy and full of flavor. Definitely won’t wait this long to come back again!

The food tasted great but I have to say the service beats it. 💵 pricing 3 people for 9,000 baht including service charge and vat. Around 7,600 baht for the food only. 📖 what we got 1. Chateaubriand 640 g 2. Flat iron 470 g 3. Beef tongue 4. Clay pot rice with beef tallow 5. Some salads 6. Some desserts ✍️ My Review I think I have to talk about the service now considering my strong opening. The staff were very attentive even before we stepped into the restaurant. A staff came outside of the restaurant to greet us, might have been because we were standing outside for a while. But still it was a good greeting. Once stepped inside, all staff greeted us warmly. The staff were informative with the dishes. My dad is someone who talks a lot and asks a lot but they were able to answer all his questions without a pause. The food came surprisingly quick despite our hunger. We were told the Chateaubriand would take around 45-60 mins but it came sizzling hot not even close to that, it was faster than we were expected. All the other dishes we got also came pretty fast. What I found impressive is how they handle things around the restaurant. A staff knocked over our knife by accident. She quickly informed that she would get a new one for us, despite it landing on the table (and not even the floor). What impresses me even more was how she did not give the knife by hand but rather puts the knife on a plate for us to pick it up. Something so simple but so thoughtful. I will be back to finish my review but I am so full I can’t think anymore. One more thing though, I think it’s because of the high ceiling, the echo was very loud. We could barely hear each other instead we heard a lot of the other tables which made my head hurts a little.

One of the best beef-focused dining experiences I’ve had in Bangkok. Every dish we ordered was excellent, but the highlights for me were definitely the beef tongue with cured egg yolk, the Chateaubriand, the truffle beef rice, the ribeye steak, the oyster blade steak, and the beef tendon soup. The beef tongue was incredibly tender with a great texture, and pairing it with the cured egg yolk elevated the dish even further. The Chateaubriand was perfectly cooked, exceptionally tender, and packed with flavor. Both the ribeye and oyster blade steaks showcased the quality of the beef and the skill of the kitchen, with beautiful seasoning and precise cooking. The truffle beef rice was another standout. Rich, aromatic, and comforting, it complemented the grilled meats perfectly. I was also pleasantly surprised by the beef tendon soup, which had a deep, flavorful broth and melt-in-your-mouth tendon. What I appreciate most about Mahasan is that it is not just about serving premium beef. There is clear attention to detail in every dish, from ingredient selection to execution. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the overall experience feels thoughtfully curated. A restaurant that is absolutely worth the reservation effort. I’ll definitely be coming back to more menu
