Was recommended by my local Muay Thai gym in USA. Master Toddy is the best place to learn Muay Thai (professional fighting all the way down to amateur), offers the whole experience. You can stay there, try local food, friendly people, safe and peaceful surrounding, great service. I even bought a pair of MT shorts customized with my name sewn by the ladies there which was ready in a day. Master Toddy is a legend but he is down to earth and welcomes everyone who is interested in learning Muay Thai. 100% recommended and definitely coming back here.

I have had three trips to train at Master Toddy's Academy All trips have been amazing from the awesome knowledge passed on by Master Toddy himself, to the private sessions that can be organised to hone your skill set The atmosphere, well mannered, friendly staff and great training sessions make you feel comfortable and engaged You will be forever learning with Master Toddy Do yourself a favour and go to Thailand, stay, train and enjoy You will love it!!! I don’t recommend this gym, I attended this gym for a decent amount of time and the environment was incredibly toxic. It wasn’t at all how they’d advertised it online. The gym wasn’t kept clean and neither was any of their sparring gear, myself and a few others ended up getting staph due to the unclean equipment. Management was unhelpful throughout most of my stay and the owner of the gym was very toxic, he’d often use tactics of putting people down and breaking away at any confidence they had, it made training incredibly unenjoyable. In terms of pricing the price to stay here is incredibly high for what the gym offers and I’d say it’s not worth it.

It was okay for the first couple days but I quickly came to realize that this isn’t a real Thai gym. Instead it’s a highly priced social media trap. The instructors aren’t Thai and the gym only attracts foreigners. The gym is unsanitary and the training is extremely basic. After a few days of being here I began to realize the owner of the gym is more of a businessman than an actual teacher and clearly only cares about being paid. I did meet some decent people during my stay but other people including the staff were unwelcoming. For the price I paid I expected a lot better. I’ll be going elsewhere next time.
