Molino Bangkok

We decided to try Molino while looking for Mexican food in Bangkok and it ended up being a very solid experience overall. The restaurant itself has a very vibrant and stylish interior, with colorful plates, warm lighting, and a lively bar area. The design gives the place a modern Mexican feel while still being comfortable and relaxed for dinner. Instead of bread, they start you with warm tortillas topped with melted crunchy cheese, which was a nice way to begin the meal and something a bit different. We ordered several dishes to share, including chicken tinga tacos, carnitas tacos, and guacamole with tortilla chips. The guacamole was fresh and well prepared, with chunks of avocado, tomato, and onion, served with crispy tortilla chips and small toppings on the side so you can adjust the flavor. The tacos were also very good. The carnitas were tender and rich, while the chicken tinga had a smoky, slightly spicy flavor that worked really well with the fresh toppings. Presentation was great across the board, with nicely plated dishes and good portion sizes. If there is one small thing that could be improved, it would be the music selection. The background music leaned more towards pop and classical, which felt a bit out of place with the concept. Something more traditional Mexican or slightly more elegant could elevate the atmosphere even further. It’s definitely on the expensive side for Bangkok. Our bill came to around 1,470 THB for two people, including drinks and service charge. Still, considering the food quality, the setting, and the overall experience, it felt justified. A very enjoyable Mexican restaurant with great food and atmosphere.

Great vibes and even better food at Molino in Bangkok! 🇲🇽🌮 Had a wonderful birthday dinner here and they surprised us with a complimentary shot to celebrate. Such a nice touch! Highly recommend the tacos.

Beef Nacho here is one of the best I have ever eaten and I've been to many places that served nacho but this place is the best one in my opinion. The seasoning in nacho is excellent just missing guacamole and sour cream but plenty of nacho cheese. The beef is very tender. Beef taco is also well made, love it. There was a happy hour, ordered margarita... the bartender made it just right, served with burnt lime, Nice!
