Love their food. Though located in the mall, but once you step inside you could feel the izakaya vibe. Wide-range of japanese food. Their sashimi was surprisingly great, all fresh and tasty. The cut was chunky and worth its value. Love their lunch set, reasonable price. The grilled fish was superb, a bit burn but came in a great size.

A solid Japanese izakaya spot I keep coming back to. The vibe is lively but still comfortable—perfect for sharing dishes with family or friends. What I always order: • 🥒Smashed cucumber with chunky garlic chili oil Super refreshing with a bold garlic kick—simple but addictive. • 🥜Okra natto Not for everyone, but if you love natto, this one is done right. • 🍣 Salmon sashimi Fresh, clean, and consistently good—my mom’s absolute favorite. • 🦀Grilled crab butter with crab meat & quail eggs Rich, creamy, and indulgent. Perfect with a drink. New try: • 🍳Japanese-style omelette with pork and cheese Soft, savory, and surprisingly satisfying—comfort food Japanese-style. And of course, we had to end on a sweet note: • 🍡 Skewered mochi with sweet red beans and vanilla ice cream — chewy, warm, cold, sweet… the perfect ending. Overall, Nagiya Gateway Ekamai delivers quality Japanese comfort food with reliable flavors. Great place when you want classic dishes done well, especially for sharing. Would happily come back again. 🍻

Quite authentic Japanese cuisine with Izakaya style. Most the food ordered was very good, just some dishes a bit salty. Overall service and atmosphere were great. During peak hours like lunch or dinner, would recommend to book in advance.
