The food we had was sub par. Now, that said, the Morning Glory was excellent. However, the grilled chicken and the chicken laap were really bad. What is really surprising though is the prices for a tourist area like this - Asiatique. Yes, the prices look great for a tourist area. However, the portions are really small. AND you get hit with a 10% service charge that they don’t tell you about before your meal. I rate 2 stars instead of 1 because the atmosphere and ambience are great. Additionally, the service was good. I will not come back here because of the undisclosed service charge, more food being bad than good and small portions. Try a different restaurant.

I wished I could add a couple more stars and I had high expectations. Maybe it was out of the ordinary but here is what happened. I looked for place to have lunch since I had just come out of the Jurassic Park tour. there were many restaurants and I had a up coming ride appointment with the skyflyer. I found this restaurant at one of the corners and had customers so I thought it would be a safe bet to think the food is probably good. They sat me down ordered some steak, chicken appetizer rice and dessert. Food came out reasonably minutes later and munched on the chicken drumsticks. Well cooked and then the steak came. I chose the medium well. I think it was really raw. I couldn’t chew through it. I tried different parts from the ends to the middle but couldn’t. Unfortunately, I gave up and waited for the dessert which was ice cream. Ate that and left. Staff was nice and I didn’t bother to complain. Probably my fault for now ordering the steak well done. I found a burger place nearby and ate that instead. Still, I would return and try other dishes. It is still a nice restaurant and I’m pretty sure other dishes are good. I just have to return and try again.
