Navalai River Resort

The location of the hotel is great. We had a river view room which was nice except for the excessive whistling that comes with the boats entering and leaving the busy dock directly in front of the hotel. This started early in the morning and woke me up. The rooms are nice, clean, and well air conditioned! The rooftop pool was a nice place to cool off after a long hot day in Bangkok...could use some more lounge chairs though. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

Large, clean, comfortable twin room with small balcony, we could just see the river. The roof top pool is excellent and the main reason we booked this hotel. Location is great, not far from Khao San Road and way less hectic but still within walking distance. Lots of excellent places to eat nearby. Breakfast was a disappointment and I would highly recommend Navalai introduce an egg station so guests can have something hot and freshly prepared. Staff struggle with English.

Location is perfect. Close to the ferry, historic sites and must see spots. The rooms are clean but in need of an update. The employees very friendly. The restaurant is expensive and the add a service charge. That is not OK. No tipping needed because of that... I think. And at the pool guest take "ownership" of sunbed by leaving their towels on them. This is very annoying
