OK Shabu is one of the cleanest shabu restaurants I’ve visited. The ingredients are always fresh, the quality is consistently good, and everything tastes delicious. The restaurant is well-maintained, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for fresh and tasty shabu.

Longstanding Taiwanese hot pot in the middle of BKK. Been coming here for two decades and it’s still easily my favorite hot pot in town 💞 They also have lots of delicious vegetarian options ✨

OK Shabu delivers exactly what great shabu-shabu should: freshness, balance, and quiet confidence in its ingredients. The spread is generous and thoughtfully curated — fresh prawns and seafood, clean-tasting fish, and a wide variety of vegetables, tofu, noodles, and mushrooms. Everything arrives well presented and clearly fresh, which makes a big difference in this style of dining. The broth is light and clean, allowing the ingredients to shine rather than overpowering them. Sauces are well balanced, especially the chili and dipping sauces, which add depth without masking flavors. Service is attentive and efficient without hovering, and the overall experience feels calm, organized, and consistently well run — ideal whether you’re dining casually or taking your time over a longer meal. A solid choice for quality shabu-shabu done right, with excellent ingredients and a smooth dining experience. Would happily return.

I’ve been eating Shabu here for over a decade but I’ve never been this furious before. I usually order pork, lamb or fish set. But for the past 3 times, the lamb quality is quite questionable so I have to exchange it for fish. But today I really want to have lamb set. I ordered it and I told the staff I don’t want black parts (bc the last 2 times it came with distinguish dark spots on the meat). The staff just stare at me and ask me if I have any problem. I haven’t said a thing but she said the last time I complained and exchange it so what about today. The problem is the way she expressed her word and body language is kinda rude. It seems like she targeted me from the start. So shouldn’t I order lamb at all? Is it a customer fault for ordering what I want? She just keep arguing with me and the last thing I want to do is to argue in public like this. Idk why the staff is trained to pick on customers like this. She just laughed it off and said I was picky. The staffs don’t look like they want to serve me. I ask for refill of the soup and the male (perhaps lgbtq) gave me the soup from another pot ( not jar that used for filling soup). It made me feel skeptical if he gave me the new soup or old/ used soup by other people bc after I saw him talk to that female staff who just pick on me and like to talk and giggle around with other staff. It made me don’t want to finish my meal anymore and I have to pack the food home. I normally come here every week but maybe it’s time to stop coming at all given the staff attitude is like this, it doesn’t make me feel good. They’d really cross the line this time
