Old German Beerhouse on 13

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was truly unacceptable. After living in Thailand for many years, this is the first time I have encountered such openly rude and unprofessional behavior in a restaurant. The staff simply ignore guests. When you ask a question, they wave you off, interrupt you mid-sentence, and react with visible irritation. At one point I was essentially told to “be quiet” while trying to speak. When requesting something, the staff member demonstratively walked away. This is not inattentive service — this is blatant disrespect. We waited a very long time for the bill and could not find a single waiter. The staff were hiding behind the curtain, and no one was available in the dining area. The beer is decent and not cheap, but no quality of drinks can compensate for such treatment. I would never return and would not recommend this place to anyone who does not want to leave in a bad mood. This behavior does not reflect Thai hospitality in any way. I sincerely hope the owners and top management read this and seriously reconsider who they employ. Keeping staff who behave this way damages your reputation more than you may realize.
