The best chicken breast avocado toast I’ve had so far! Most places give you a tiny amount of chicken but this one was more than enough! Definitely worth trying! Sourdough bread tastes good, eggs okey. 7% vat + 10% serves charge is quite a high of a hidden cost.

High standards, great quality and chilled ambience. Omu serves hearty, Japanese comfort style food. Omu was perfectly cooked, pork Katsu was light and crispy and the sauces were hot and tasty. Very enjoyable experience. Well priced too! We paid $750B for 2 meal sets. Good affordable place for lunch or dinner

Despite being one of the simplest dishes to prepare, this very simplicity also makes Omurice one of the most challenging to execute perfectly. The fluffy Japanese white rice must be cooked to perfection—tender without being overdone. The variety of katsu toppings should be both tender and crispy. The demi-glace sauce needs to be glossy and well-balanced, avoiding excessive saltiness. And, of course, the Omu egg must be flawlessly shaped, cooked to perfection, and retain its gooey center when cut open. While there were some commendable elements, such as the well-cooked egg, I feel Omu didn’t fully deliver on its execution of Omurice. The rice was adequately cooked, the demi-glace sauce had a glossy appearance but lacked robust flavor, and the katsu, though tender, was neither crunchy nor particularly flavorful.
