OK so I came here to meet a friend for a meeting and I’ve been here many times before I’m quite surprised I haven’t written a review! Chef Julien makes some very creative and very tasty dishes! We ended up ordering the gnocchi, the pork ribs and a salad with duck breast! The gnocchi was very good - the fresh baby tomatoes surrounded the gnocchi very well and then the big hunk of cheese also really complimented the dish and I like the fact that it came out in a iron cast pan! The pork ribs came out last and they were with the big sort of potato wedges and it was quite good - I really enjoyed the sauce on the pork ribs that was the tastiest part of the dish! The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy and it was very nicely seasoned along with not too much drowned in dressing it was perfectly dressed up ready to eat! We also ordered a salad with the duck breast the smoked sliced duck breast and that was really good too but the lettuce was crisp and fresh along with all of the other vegetables that were in there! I don’t even have to say this but anybody who’s on So11 & can’t think of a place to eat - hit up Oskars!! Highly recommend to go here they also have a second floor for a private parties, but the main area is downstairs there’s also a little bit of a mini dance floor !! it’s quite a popular destination on this very party street! Great place, coming here for years and never been disappointed. All food is great but the steak tartare is outshining every other dish. Perfectly cut to the right chunkyness for best texture and taste. There is nothing that comes close in BKK. Drinks are awesome and made with skills and passion. My #1 spot in BKK to start the night

A cozy dinner spot in Sukhumvit 11 where comfort food meets a touch of sophistication. The medium-rare steak was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and paired with a rich sauce that didn’t overpower the meat. The fresh tuna dish was light and vibrant, with a subtle Asian twist that balanced everything beautifully. Dessert was the perfect ending — not too sweet, just comforting and satisfying. A disappointing evening meal, with two friends. We all felt the food was no better than average. You would expect better in Bangkok for the price. I ordered the pork fillet mignon(580THB). Whilst the sauce and vegetables were fantastic, the pork was bone dry. I also had a little taste of the Salami Piccante pizza(360THB). The Salami was excellent but sadly the base wasn't properly cooked compared to a decent pizzeria. Finally my other pal often orders duck and ordered the L’Orang(590THB). He scored the dish at 6/10. 10 % service (service was very good considering how full the restaurant was), and 7% VAT. The restaurant was super busy, and we were pleased we had booked. The music at 8pm on a Thursday night was slightly loud, but this is a party street. Overall the meal was a let down for the price. Ate in the Phnom Penh sister restaurant a few years back and the food was much better.

We stopped at Oskar Bistro on Sukhumvit Soi 11 for a casual evening meal and drinks. Overall, the experience was fine but ultimately quite average and not particularly impressive. We ordered a Singha and an Asahi, both nicely chilled and reasonably priced for the area. The complimentary snacks were a pleasant touch while waiting for the food. For mains, we chose the braised lamb shank and the fish & chips. The lamb shank was tender and flavourful, with a rich sauce, while the fish & chips were perfectly acceptable — crispy batter and flaky fish — but nothing memorable. The food was good enough, yet lacked that extra quality or refinement that would make you eager to return. The atmosphere is lively, benefitting from its location on one of Bangkok’s busiest nightlife streets, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Our total bill came to 1,836 THB including service charge and VAT, which felt fair for Sukhumvit, but again did not feel like outstanding value for what was delivered. In summary, Oskar Bistro is a convenient place for a casual meal and drinks, but it is average rather than impressive — fine if you are already in the area, but not a destination I would go out of my way to revisit.
