No matter how many times I visit, the shrimp are always fresh, large, plump, and crunchy. The dipping sauce is bold, spicy, and seriously addictive, while the fresh vegetables help balance the heat.🦐🔥🥬

Honestly the best marinated seafood I’ve ever had! Super fresh shrimp and oysters with an amazing sauce - wrapping it with perilla leaves and onions was just mind-blowing. It’s my most unforgettable food memory in Bangkok. I still crave it all the time!

Fresh prawns, oysters and pieces of salmon at a hefty 189 or 199 Baht, if my memory served me right. 😉 Short of calling it a restaurant, PNKCNP is definitely a hole in the wall type of establishment more popular with younger patrons in their teens and 20s. I was the only 50yo++ there at the time. I chose to eat in-house, with seats located on the second floor (my poor knees) passing the toilet, vanity, and the kitchen and storage areas. Not a great sight to behold before one starts his meal… 😂 Unlike the plethora of great-tasting spicy traditional Thai raw seafood salads available all over Thailand, this is in my opinion a modern take of them, but without the pungency of fermented fish or heavily salted baby river crabs. Although fresh to the bite and taste, I just find the overall taste experience lacking somewhat. Without the signature light-green limey, slightly sweet, lightly spicy, garlicky sauce, and the overkill heap of deep fried shallots to lift this tri-seafood salad, it would have been just meh… ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Following the directions shown on the posters, I used the baby kale to make a wrap. The end result was OK, reminiscent of the Korean Ssam, except that the Ssam is jam-packed with your choice of slices of BBQ pork belly, beef or Unagi, with Ssamjang, Kimchi, slices of garlic and pieces of green chillies—which has texture, a much rounder taste profile and is much more robust. Service at the ordering and collection counters was great though, with a very polite, smiley and patient attendant who spoke good English, and who recommended me the eventual tri-seafood salad that I ordered. Kudos to them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, at the end, this tri-seafood salad at PNKCNP kind of fell a little flat for me, but it wasn’t terrible by any means. I just wouldn’t rush back for it, even if I happen to be in the area. 😏
