This ain’t just pad Thai, it’s royal pad Thai! Long story short, I was stranded because my credit card wasn’t working and I couldn’t retrieve any cash. I stumbled upon this place and asked the kind owner if they took card. Like most places, they did not. However, she invited me to sit down, introduced me to her niece who speaks English, and they offered to feed me without cost. I broke down into tears and could not contain the love I felt from this establishment. I can to learn about the story or the owner. She was a chef for the king at the royal palace. Her recipe is one that only the chefs know as it has been passed down for 5 generations. The presentation was the of a gourmet restaurant, exactly what you would expect for a king. The taste… unforgettable. Best Thai food I have had without question. The flavors are well balanced between sweet and salty, and your mouth will explode. My heart was touched and I plan on going back with friends whenever I am here and continuing to try and pay it forward! This visit wasn’t just about food. It was about learning what love feels like.

After eating pad Thai and pad kra pao in Phuket and Chiang mai and other spots in Bangkok, this one stood out the most. In fact we went there twice and ate like 4 plates because it was better every time. It’s a small quiet place and the host cooks and runs the place. Go here and you won’t be disappointed. Food is incredible and so tasty.
