About
A no-frills canteen near Siam that wins on consistency and value. The pad thai and tom yum are well-executed classics, portions are generous, and it's common to find regulars returning here three days in a row.

If you’re in Bangkok and not eating at Pad Thai & Tom Yum 2, you are seriously missing out. Gary and I (Linda!) have eaten lunch here three days in a row — and that alone should tell you everything. When you find a place this good, you don’t “try” somewhere else… you come back. The food is next-level fresh and authentically Thai. Every dish tastes like it was made with care, pride, and recipes passed down through generations. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced — savory, slightly sweet, with that fresh squeeze of lime that makes it pop. The mixed vegetables were vibrant, crisp, and clearly just-prepared. And don’t even get me started on the mango sticky rice — absolute perfection. Sweet, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The fresh pineapple was the perfect refreshing finish. What makes it even better? It’s family owned and operated, and you can feel it. The service is welcoming, genuinely friendly, and impressively fast. You’re not just another table — you’re treated like a guest. The photos are for your review (including one of us — Gary and Linda — happily enjoying every bite!) because this place deserves to be seen as much as it deserves to be tasted. If you’re anywhere near here, go. Don’t overthink it. Just go hungry. We’ll definitely be back again before we leave Bangkok. 🍜✨

This place is great! Even without all the free food, and there is lots of it, this restaurant would be a winner. Nothing fancy, but just good, well prepared Thai food at a good price. We had the Pad Thai and Thai Basil, Pork, and both were delicious. The pineapple, the water, the coconut, and the mango sticky rice, all free from the restaurant, we're all excellent as well. In particular, it was some of the best mango sticky rice we've had in Thailand. The servings are also very generous. Very highly recommended.

Located just at walking distance from Prince Palace hotel, this place serves some delicious Thai dishes. Many travellers had left their thoughts, emotions and love for thailand on the walls of the place. We ordered fried chicken with rice and pad Thai but ended up getting extra green tea roti and mango sticky rice by the owner. Exchanged some fun moments with the fellow travellers. Owner is very kind and polite.I suggest to visit this place around 9:00 - 9:30. Mango sticky rice is a must try here.
