Best dinner in Thailand thus far. The food had uniquely sumptuous Southern Thai flavors. We loved all 3 of the dishes we ordered. We had the eggs with pork leg, red noodles with crab meat, and eggs with malindjo. We had the coconut ice cream with glutinous rice balls for dessert. The drinks were super too!

A simple Southern Thai spot where you don’t need to wait long or book ahead (just walk in). Every dish we ordered was delicious, but the shrimp cakes were the real MVP.

Big disappointment. The waitress asked my spice level, and I told her “very very mild” multiple times, in clear Thai. The food still came out spicy, barely warm, and took way too long even though the place wasn’t busy. When I told the waitress it was too spicy, she just said “eat it with rice” and walked away. The fish cakes were rubbery and had no taste at all. I honestly wondered if a trainee was cooking, because nothing tasted right and nothing was cooked properly. I didn’t finish half my food. At the end, two different waitresses tried to sign me up for some membership. I clearly wasn’t enjoying the meal, so why ask me that? If your dishes are always spicy, just say so.
