About

A small, tidy Italian spot in Ratchathewi with honest flavors and portions that don't shortchange you. The spaghetti is reliable, prices are kept reasonable, and the staff are genuinely friendly without the stiffness that can accompany sit-down dining.

Pasta Ama is a simple and affordable Italian restaurant with a few Japanese options on the menu. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The spaghetti is tasty, portions are reasonable, and the prices feel fair for what you get. If the Bangkok weather is kind, you can get a table in the backyard and enjoy the setting. A nice casual spot when you want something easy and comfortable.

A very clean place with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious — every dish we tried was full of flavor. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which makes the experience even better. Prices are quite budget-friendly: the average dish costs around 150–250 THB, which is excellent value for the quality you get. Most of the guests are locals, which is always a good sign. I noticed a review by a woman named Indira Teryaeva claiming this was the “worst tom yum ever.” However, she actually ordered a different dish and mistakenly thought it was tom yum, so that comment is misleading. We really enjoyed everything here and would definitely recommend this place.

I recently visited AMA Pasta, a cozy little restaurant just a short walk from Ratchathewi BTS Station. The place offers a good mix of Italian favourites like carbonara and other pasta dishes, along with a few Asian options. We tried both pasta and rice with Thai curry. The pasta was delicious and well prepared, while the Thai curry leaned a bit on the sweeter side compared to other places. Portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a casual meal in the area.

I went to this restaurant because it was one of a few places that serve breakfast early in the morning (Thailand starts their day pretty late - around 9 or 10am local time) The food does not taste as good as it looks, and the reviews for this place is misleading. This place is only for people that want to take good picture and don't care about the food. Not recommend for people that want to taste Italian foods, they only serve fusion Italian dishes (Japanese inspired), but for me, they just mix spaghetti, penne with Japanese ingredients, that's all. And most of the ingredients is pre-cooked and combine with the hot sauce, so they taste really seperate, not good at all. The atmosphere and service is okay, but not outstanding to the point that they can charge it 10%, plus 7% VAT. So you will have to pay more than you expected.
